This notice explains how Manotan Limited and its group companies (collectively, "Manotan Group", "we", "us") collect, use and protect personal data when you interact with The Manoverse, our websites, and our regulated services.

Who we are

The data controller is Manotan Limited (company number 16267913). We keep data collection to the absolute minimum — see below.

What we collect

• Identifiers you provide — name, email, organisation, role.
• Matter information — facts, documents and communications related to the work you instruct.
• Technical data — IP, browser, device, pages viewed. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Lawful basis

We process personal data on the basis of (i) performance of a contract, (ii) compliance with legal and regulatory obligations (including AML, SRA and HMRC rules), (iii) our legitimate interests in running a professional services group, and (iv) your consent where required.

Retention

Matter files are retained for the period required by our regulators — typically six years from closure for accountancy records and seven years for legal files, longer where statute or insurance requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
